The Batboat

The Batboat is Batman's second water based vessel. Its design was with the organic "ribs" motif, exposed innards aglow with blue neon to match the Mk II Batmobile.

The Batboat

After he abandoned the Batskiboat that he used in his battle with Penguin, Bruce designed this new water based vessel. Like all the newer vehicles, more lights and sharper angles were used than the older vehicles.

Preparing for vengeance

After changing into his Sonar Batsuit, Bruce asked Alfred whether he should used the Batboat or the Batwing. Dick suggests both as he enters the Batcave now dressed in his Robin suit that was designed by Alfred. Bruce agreeed to a partnership with Robin and piloted the Batwing while Robin piloted the Batboat.

Robin was very thrilled at using the Batboat as he left the Batcave  with the vessel jumping out of an entrance hole and hitting the water.

Claw Island seige

Upon approaching Claw Island, the boat was destroyed by one of Riddler's mines activated by Two-Face. Robin managed to eject himself from the boat before it was destroyed.

After falling in the water, he removed his seat belt as he was strapped to the ejector seat and swimmed underwater, only to be attacked by Riddler's frogmen.

Batman after falling into the water as well when the Batwing was shot ejected the wings of the Batwing and turned it into its Batsub mode.

He found Robin being attacked and ejected himself from the Batsub to save him shooting a net at the divers and trapping them.

The Batboat was presumably restored as the design was still considered current when Barbara Wilson accessed Alfred's disk that revealed the secret of Bruce and Dick's alter egos.
