Bob Kane (October 24, 1915 – November 3, 1998) was one of the men involved with the creation of Batman, though for legal reasons he received sole credit for many years. He was invited to the sets and considered a "consultant" on all four films. Though when when he opposed something, it didn't seem to stop the filmmakers from doing whatever they wanted.
