Spring-action reel and grappling hook attachment
The spring-action reel was a device device used by Bruce Wayne as Batman to make an ascent after firing a grappling hook attachment. It was also used offensively to pull people or objects. The spring-action reel could be attached to the rear of the brass utility belt and revolve around the belt with the sliding device.
Batman has abandoned the spring-action reel and its grappling hook attachments in favor single purpose grapple guns and arm mounted grapple lines.
