William Michael Hootkins (July 5, 1948 — October 23, 2005) was an American actor who portrayed Lieutenant Max Eckhardt in Batman.
Hootkins passed in away in the fall of 2005, and likely declined interview for Shadows of the Bat due to illness.
Outside Batman, Hootkins is probably best known for playing Porkins in the original Star Wars and Eaton in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
